Quantum Cyber N.V. (Nasdaq: QUCY) announced approximately $2.09 million in purchase orders at its wholly owned subsidiary, Quantum Drones Corporation, according to a press release from the company.

The orders were received as part of the company's acquisition of a 50,000 square foot manufacturing facility, which the company said is intended to support a transition toward direct, U.S.-based manufacturing of its autonomous defense platforms.

Quantum Drones Corporation is a Nevada-incorporated subsidiary established to handle the company's domestic defense technology programs and U.S. government procurement activities. The subsidiary is led by Peter O'Rourke, a former acting Secretary of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and includes Robert Liscouski, a former Assistant Secretary for Infrastructure Protection at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, as a director.

The company noted in its forward-looking statements that purchase order totals are based on order records as of the dates indicated and are subject to change, cancellation, or rescheduling by customers, and do not guarantee future revenue.
