RxSight, Inc. (NASDAQ: RXST) announced a leadership transition effective July 20, 2026, with Aziz Mottiwala appointed President and Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Ron Kurtz, M.D., who moves to the role of Chief Medical Officer.
Mottiwala most recently served as Chief Commercial Officer at Tarsus Pharmaceuticals and previously held the same role at Opiant Pharmaceuticals. Before those positions, he spent more than a decade at Allergan in senior leadership roles within its eye care and broader commercial organization. He holds a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of California, San Diego, and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
In connection with the transition, Kurtz will resign from the RxSight Board of Directors, at which point Mottiwala will be appointed to the board.
Andy Corley, Chairman of the RxSight Board of Directors, said the company believes Mottiwala's "deep commercial and operational experience in eye care makes him exceptionally well suited to lead the Company into its next chapter of value creation."
RxSight stated it is not updating its previously communicated financial guidance in connection with this announcement.
