Coca-Cola elects new officer, declares $0.53 quarterly dividend

The Coca-Cola Company (NYSE: KO) said its board of directors elected Max Hyldebrandt as a company officer and declared a regular quarterly dividend of $0.53 per common share.

Hyldebrandt, who assumed the role of Senior Vice President and Head of Corporate Development on June 4, will report to President and Chief Financial Officer John Murphy. He oversees mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, partnerships, joint ventures and divestitures.

Hyldebrandt joined Coca-Cola in 1999 and most recently served as Vice President of Corporate Development. He began his career as an auditor with KPMG in Denmark and holds a degree from Copenhagen Business School.

The quarterly dividend of $0.53 per common share is payable Oct. 1 to shareowners of record as of the close of business Sept. 15.
