Anthropic, Blackstone and Hellman & Friedman launch enterprise AI firm Ode

Anthropic, Blackstone, and Hellman & Friedman have launched Ode with Anthropic, a standalone enterprise AI services company, according to a press release from the founding partners.

The company, previously announced earlier in 2026, is built on the foundation of Fractional AI, an applied AI services firm acquired in May 2026. Chris Taylor serves as CEO and Eddie Siegel as CTO, both of whom co-founded Fractional AI and held those same roles there.

The investor consortium backing Ode includes Goldman Sachs, General Atlantic, Leonard Green & Partners, Apollo Global Management, GIC, and Sequoia Capital, alongside the three founding partners.

Ode combines Anthropic's AI models with a team of engineers drawn from Fractional AI and Anthropic. The company targets mid-size organizations across financial services, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, and software, among other industries.

"Companies everywhere see the potential for what AI can do for their businesses, the challenge is making it real," Taylor said in the statement. "By pairing the deep subject matter expertise of our clients with our top applied AI talent, we're able to drive transformation level impact."

Garvan Doyle, Anthropic's Head of Forward Deployed Engineering for the Americas, described Ode as serving enterprises moving from experimenting with AI to integrating it into their operations. "Ode was built to be that partner, adding to Anthropic's growing ecosystem of partners that help enterprises put Claude to work," Doyle said.

The company said it is actively hiring engineers, product leaders, and operators.
