Wallbox (NYSE: WBX) and Saudi Arabia-based Turning Point Energy announced they have surpassed 10,000 electric vehicle chargers sold and installed across Saudi Arabia since the start of their partnership in 2022.
Under the arrangement, Turning Point serves as an official distributor, certified installer, and maintenance partner for Wallbox charging solutions in the kingdom. The deployments span residential, commercial, and public charging environments and cover both AC and DC charging solutions.
The partnership has also supported charging infrastructure connected to Turning Point's agreements with EV brands BYD and Lucid in the region.
Ignasi Alastuey, Chief Business Officer at Wallbox, said: "Through our collaboration with Turning Point, we have been able to support the deployment of reliable charging infrastructure across the country while maintaining high standards in installation and service."
Fahad Al Saud, CEO at Turning Point Renewable Energy, said: "Surpassing 10,000 deployed chargers is an important milestone that reflects both increasing EV adoption and the importance of reliable charging infrastructure to support that transition."
The two companies said they plan to continue expanding EV charging infrastructure deployments across Saudi Arabia following the milestone.
