Varonis adds Claude Code and Claude Cowork to its Atlas AI security platform

July 14, 2026 9:03 AM EDT

Varonis Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: VRNS) announced that its Atlas platform has extended AI security coverage to include Claude Code and Claude Cowork, two products in Anthropic's enterprise AI suite.

According to a press release from the company, Varonis Atlas now supports the full Claude enterprise lineup, which includes Claude Code, Claude Cowork, Claude Enterprise, and Claude Platform. The expansion follows a prior integration with the Claude Compliance API.

For Claude Code, Atlas provides AI runtime guardrails to block non-compliant prompts before they reach code or regulated repositories, activity monitoring to detect exposure of source code, credentials, and API keys, AI security posture management to identify configurations that may manipulate agent behavior, and an AI inventory that tracks agents, tools, and code artifacts in a unified view.

For Claude Cowork, Atlas offers runtime guardrails that can block, modify, or alert on risky activity as an agent reads, edits, or creates files, along with activity monitoring that logs user, project, and resource context for audit purposes.

"Security has to meet agents where they operate, and that means runtime enforcement," said Ron Bennatan, VP of AI and Data Security Strategy at Varonis. "Whether it's Claude Code committing to a repository or Claude Cowork rewriting files on someone's desktop, the risk shows up when an agent gets access, not after the fact."

Varonis Atlas is available now.
