RXO (NYSE: RXO), a Charlotte, N.C.-based transportation brokerage company, announced a partnership with Highway, a technology provider focused on carrier identity verification, according to a press release.
The partnership integrates Highway's vetting platform and its Load Lock+ ELD Tracking feature into RXO's existing fraud prevention program. The Load Lock+ tool is designed to provide real-time in-transit visibility and strengthen load security.
Lou Amo, president of RXO's truck brokerage business, said the platform "helps us mitigate risk but also simplifies the experience for our carrier partners by reducing delays and back-and-forth communication once they are onboarded."
Michael Caney, chief commercial officer at Highway, said the partnership aims to streamline vetting and provide visibility "to create a secure, more efficient environment for every load moved."
RXO said the integration is intended to address threats such as chameleon carriers and double brokering. The company said it recently received CargoNet's "Best in Cargo Security" award and a FreightWaves Fraud Fighters award in connection with its fraud prevention efforts.
