Beam Global reports Q2 2026 revenue above $8.5M, up 170% from Q1

July 14, 2026 6:00 AM EDT

Beam Global (NASDAQ: BEEM) reported preliminary, unaudited second-quarter 2026 revenue exceeding $8.5 million, representing an increase of more than 170% compared to the first quarter of 2026 and more than 20% compared to the second quarter of 2025, according to a press release.

The figures are estimates based on information available as of the release date and remain subject to change pending completion of the company's quarter-end closing procedures and financial statement review.

Preliminary, unaudited GAAP gross margin for the second quarter was approximately 15% to 18%. The company attributed the margin improvement primarily to higher revenue volumes absorbing fixed overhead costs, along with cost-reduction and international efficiency initiatives.

Revenue during the quarter was generated across multiple product categories, including drone battery systems, defense and military applications, AI-driven robotics, wildfire detection technologies, battery energy storage systems, off-grid EV charging infrastructure, smart city infrastructure, public lighting, telecommunications, and traffic and transportation infrastructure. The company also reported its first commercial sale in the Middle East and continued expansion across Europe, with smart city solutions deployed across more than 30 cities in five countries.

Beam Global also noted it recently announced projected savings of $2.7 million in reduced lease payments over a five-year lease term following the relocation of manufacturing operations to Yuma, Arizona.

"We are simultaneously increasing our revenues, our opportunities to generate revenues, and our vertically integrated capabilities," said Desmond Wheatley, CEO of Beam Global. "Our second quarter revenue streams categorically demonstrate that our diversification efforts are working."

The company expects to file its complete, unaudited financial results for the second quarter of 2026 in a Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q on or before August 14, 2026, in accordance with applicable SEC filing deadlines.
