Astrana Health names two executives to expand leadership team

Astrana Health, Inc. (NASDAQ: ASTH) announced the appointment of Daniel Rothman as President of Physician Enterprise and Vishal Gupta as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Transformation, according to a company press release dated July 13, 2026.
Rothman brings more than 20 years of experience in healthcare operations. He co-founded Rendr, a value-based, primary care-focused multi-specialty medical group in New York City, where he served as founding CFO and led the integration of more than 50 physician practices. He was also the first finance hire at CityMD. In his new role, Rothman will oversee the company's physician enterprise, with responsibility for growth and expansion of Astrana's provider network. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Neuroscience from Brown University and an Executive MBA in Health Care Administration from the University of California, Irvine.
Gupta joins from EY, where he was a Partner in the Assurance and Advisory Business Services practice for more than two decades, advising executives on financial reporting, SEC compliance, SOX compliance, and mergers and acquisitions across healthcare and other sectors. At Astrana, he will lead enterprise transformation initiatives across finance, operations, and financial reporting. Gupta holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor of Commerce from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata. He is a licensed CPA in California and a Chartered Accountant in India.

Astrana currently supports more than 20,000 providers and approximately 1.55 million patients in value-based care arrangements.
