Babcock & Wilcox to redeem $61.4M in senior notes in August

Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE: BW) has issued a notice of redemption for all $61.4 million in outstanding principal of its 6.50% Senior Notes due 2026, according to a press release from the Akron, Ohio-based company.
The redemption is scheduled for August 13, 2026, at a price equal to 100% of the principal amount of the notes, along with any applicable make-whole amount and accrued and unpaid interest up to, but excluding, the redemption date.
Upon completion of the redemption, no notes will remain outstanding. Interest on the notes will cease to accrue on and after the redemption date.
The notes were originally issued under an indenture dated February 12, 2021, with The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Company, N.A. serving as trustee.
