Alpha Compute returns $6M in TON tokens, exits digital asset treasury
Alpha Compute Corp. (Nasdaq: ALP) announced it has initiated the return of its final tranche of Toncoin (TON, now renamed GRAM) holdings, valued at approximately $6 million, to Brisk Thrive and Hogarth Ventures, affiliates of Animoca Brands.
The transaction completes the wind-down of the company's Digital Asset Treasury (DAT) and removes liabilities tied to TON Put Options. The company said it will retain approximately $200,000 worth of TON, which is being returned to a final legacy shareholder under Telegram's Novation agreements.
Alpha Compute previously operated as AlphaTON Capital Corp., a company that held Telegram-ecosystem tokens as a central part of its business model. Following a rebrand in April 2026, the company shifted its focus to GPU-as-a-Service and confidential computing infrastructure.
Going forward, the company said it will hold GRAM tokens only as payment for compute services delivered to Telegram's Cocoon AI network, rather than as a balance-sheet treasury position.
The company provided unaudited projected figures following the DAT wind-down, including total assets of $73.4 million, equity of $20.5 million, debt of $0.4 million, GPU lease liabilities of $34.4 million, a forecasted twelve-month revenue run rate of $23 million, and 72 million shares outstanding.
"Returning the last of our TON closes the book on the treasury era. From here, the only Telegram tokens we hold are GRAM we have earned by delivering compute," said Enzo Villani, Executive Chairman and Chief Investment Officer.
Chief Executive Officer Brittany Kaiser said the company remains a provider to Telegram's Cocoon network, which serves more than one billion users, delivering compute through its Shroud confidential-compute product using Trusted Execution Environment technology.
Alpha Compute is domiciled in the British Virgin Islands with offices in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Amsterdam, and Toronto.
