CCC Intelligent Solutions (CCC) CCC hires investment bank to explore sale, Stifel comments

July 10, 2026 11:44 AM EDT

Investing.com -- CCC Intelligent Solutions (NASDAQ: CCC) has hired an investment bank to explore a potential sale and has contacted prospective buyers, including private equity firms, according to a Reuters report published Thursday.

Stifel noted that while it had no prior information about the sale process, the firm published a note on July 1, 2026, suggesting the CEO should take the company private.

The investment bank said it expects both private equity and strategic buyers to show interest in CCC. Potential strategic acquirers could include Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, Insurity, or Sapiens, according to Stifel.

The firm said artificial intelligence has driven growth for CCC rather than posed a threat to the business. About 10% of the company's revenue comes from AI products, in addition to AI capabilities integrated into other products.

CCC's organic revenue growth has been accelerating, with underlying organic growth reaching about 10% last quarter, up from 8% in the prior quarter, Stifel said. The firm forecasts 80 basis points of year-over-year EBITDA margin expansion in 2026.

Stifel projects CCC will generate $297 million in free cash flow in 2026, compared to $255 million in 2025.
