Investing.com - U.S. stock index futures edged lower on Friday as investors consolidated gains following Wall Street’s sharp relief rally, with easing crude oil prices and signs of a possible diplomatic breakthrough between Washington and Tehran helping stabilize broader market sentiment.

By 08:25 ET, S&P 500 Futures was flat, Nasdaq 100 Futures had fallen 0.3%, while Dow Jones Futures were up 0.3%.

Artificial intelligence and software stocks remained in focus, while investors also reacted to regulatory approvals, takeover speculation and fresh capital-raising activity.

Here are some of the biggest premarket U.S. stock movers today:

CCC Intelligent Solutions surged 14.5% after a Reuters report said the software company is exploring a potential sale. The report said CCC has hired Morgan Stanley to lead the process and has begun reaching out to prospective buyers, including private equity firms.

Circle Internet Group climbed 7% after receiving approval from the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency to establish First National Digital Currency Bank, a national trust bank that will operate under direct federal oversight.

Meta Platforms gained 3.8% after unveiling Muse Spark 1.1, its latest artificial intelligence model aimed at the rapidly expanding market for AI agents and coding applications. The company also introduced paid access for developers, marking a significant step toward monetizing its AI investments.

Fermi America tumbled 14.6% after pricing an upsized $375 million offering of 5.00% convertible senior notes due 2031. Investors appeared concerned about the potential dilution associated with the financing.

Silo Pharma dropped 22% after announcing an at-the-market private placement of up to $11.7 million. The offering includes common stock and warrants, with the proceeds expected to support the company’s ongoing development programs.
