QTREX Quantum forms U.S. subsidiary to pursue federal contracts
QTREX Quantum Ltd. (Nasdaq: QTEX), an Israel-based company focused on Additively Manufactured Electronics for quantum computing infrastructure, announced the formation of QTREX USA, a U.S. subsidiary intended to support federal government contracting activities.
According to a press release, the subsidiary will serve as a dedicated platform for U.S. federal contract execution, pursuing government funding opportunities such as grants and federally backed research and development programs. QTREX USA will also support engagement with the U.S. Department of Defense and other federal procurement channels.
The subsidiary is also structured to address national security-related compliance requirements, including Foreign Ownership, Control, or Influence rules, International Traffic in Arms Regulations, and Buy American Act considerations.
The announcement follows QTREX's previously disclosed deployment of an AME system at a U.S. government laboratory conducting quantum computing programs. The company stated it intends to develop local U.S. manufacturing capabilities through QTREX USA to support domestic production and supply chain security.
QTREX Quantum is headquartered in Ness Ziona, Israel, and also maintains a medical technology portfolio that includes respiratory support and blood monitoring platforms.
