International Paper (NYSE: IP) has temporarily suspended operations at its Pine Hill, Alabama, mill after a weather event damaged a critical roof at the facility, the company said in a press release.
The company cited employee and contractor safety as the reason for the suspension. It is currently assessing the repairs needed and expects to resume manufacturing in August.
International Paper said it is working with customers to manage any potential impacts from the closure.
