Sigma Lithium tops Q2 production guidance with 35,000 tonnes output

Sigma Lithium Corporation (NASDAQ: SGML, TSXV: SGML, BVMF: S2GM34) produced 35,000 tonnes of lithium concentrate in the second quarter of 2026, exceeding its guidance of 33,000 tonnes by approximately 6%, according to a company statement.

The company attributed the production result to a mining operations upgrade, which included expanding its mining fleet and implementing an updated mine plan. Its Cleantech Industrial Plant achieved a 70% recovery rate of lithium from spodumene ore, delivering an approximate 20% yield.

Sigma Lithium said it is on track to reach an annualized production rate of 240,000 tonnes under its Phase 1 operations. The company also outlined expansion plans that would raise annual production capacity to 520,000 tonnes in Phase 2 and 770,000 tonnes in Phase 3, with a second Cleantech Industrial Plant targeted for completion within 12 months.

Under Phase 1 alone, the company projects an all-in sustaining cost of $710 per tonne and cash flow of $130 million at a realized lithium price of $1,500 per tonne, rising to $330 million at $2,500 per tonne.

Sigma Lithium expects to release full second-quarter 2026 financial and operating results on August 14, 2026.
