Leidos and Rune Technologies partner on AI military logistics

Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) and Rune Technologies Inc. have announced a partnership to develop AI-enabled predictive logistics and sustainment capabilities aimed at supporting military operations in the Indo-Pacific region, according to a press release issued July 9, 2026.

The partnership combines Rune's predictive logistics and sustainment mission command software with Leidos' AI-enabled decision support tools. The stated goal is to help military commanders anticipate supply requirements and improve resource availability in distributed and contested environments, including those involving the distances and maritime challenges specific to the Indo-Pacific.

Jason McCarthy, Leidos senior vice president of Airborne & Mission Solutions, said the collaboration aims to give commanders "the insight and decision support they need to improve logistics visibility and increase readiness in complex and dispersed operating areas, today, not years from now."

David Tuttle, co-founder and CEO of Rune Technologies, said the partnership connects Rune's predictive logistics capabilities with Leidos' enterprise data integration expertise to link planning, decision-making, and execution in complex operational environments.

Leidos is headquartered in Reston, Virginia, and reported annual revenues of approximately $17.2 billion for the fiscal year ended January 2, 2026. Rune Technologies develops AI-enabled logistics software, including its TyrOS platform, designed to operate in environments where communications may be denied or degraded.
