Bloom Energy has issued a statement rejecting claims made in a report published on July 8, 2026, by Hunterbrook Media LLC, an outlet that has disclosed it may hold positions that would profit from a decline in the company's stock price.
Bloom Energy (NYSE: BE) said the report's claims regarding its financial results and accounting are "false and misleading," and that it stands behind the accuracy of its audited financial statements. The company directed investors to its most recent Forms 10-K and 10-Q filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
The company also addressed claims in the report related to scandium oxide, a material used in its fuel cells. Bloom Energy stated it has sufficient scandium oxide supply to meet current fuel cell demand and backlog, and that its supply is not dependent on China. The company said it also does not rely on China to scale scandium oxide supply for future demand growth.
Bloom Energy added that it has visibility into its supply chain to support production of 25 gigawatts of fuel cells per year and intends to expand that capacity.
