Cantor Fitzgerald analyst Ryan Tunis raised the price target on Everest Group (NYSE: EG) to $390.00 (from $344.00) while maintaining a Neutral rating.
The analyst commented, "We are increasing our 2Q26 operating EPS estimate from $14.57 to $15.87 to reflect our expectation for lighter catastrophes. Our estimate compares to $14.33 FactSet consensus. We are also increasing our price target to $390 (prev. $344), which values shares at .85x our NTM BVPS estimate. This is Everest’s second reporting quarter under its new business mix and segmentation following its renewal rights deal with AIG on its global retail business. This matters, in our view, given that the first reported results were much cleaner than expected, which has benefited the stock. We’ll be curious to see if those results actually turn out to be the right baseline, and are most focused on the underlying loss ratio in global specialty given the significant improvement shown in the first quarter versus 2025. Capital management is also a key area of focus, especially given the CFO change that happened mid-quarter. We expect a similar level of share repurchase in the second quarter ($330mm) as the first, but note that the company could opt to become more aggressive moving forward."
