Benchmark analyst Christopher Kuhn raised the price target on Knight Transportation (NYSE: KNX) to $90.00 (from $75.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.
The analyst commented, "We maintain our Buy rating on Knight-Swift and raise our price target to $90 from $75. We expect KNX to report solid 2Q results, particularly within the Truckload segment. More importantly, given the timing of contract bid activity, we believe the benefits of improving truckload pricing will be felt more meaningfully in the second half of 2026 and into 2027 than in 2Q, driving our higher estimates. We also expect management commentary to remain constructive on the outlook beyond the quarter, particularly in light of the recent Supreme Court ruling in the Montgomery case, which should further tighten industry capacity over time. While we expect some near-term volume pressure in LTL as management continues to optimize network quality and profitability, we believe these actions position the segment for stronger results in the back half of the year."
