UBS analyst Josh Silverstein lowered the price target on EQT Corp. (NYSE: EQT) to $73.00 (from $74.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.
The analyst commented, "We expect another positive 2Q26 update from EQT. We model volumes coming in towards the high end of the range on strong ops and reduced curtailments, which is helping to offset weaker HH and slightly wider diffs vs our prior estimates. Additionally, we believe EQT remains on track to hit its $5Bn debt target by YE26, allowing a significant ramp to $2Bn in buybacks in 2027E on our $3.75 HH deck. We also look for updates on EQT's various supply agreements and Midstream/Growth investments, which are key positive differentiators. We reiterate our Buy rating, but our PT decreases to $73 on our lowered 2026 HH outlook."
