Critical Metals Corp. hires advisor to review non-core asset options

July 8, 2026 8:40 AM EDT

Critical Metals Corp. (Nasdaq: CRML) said it has retained Clear Street as financial advisor to evaluate strategic options for its non-core assets, with White & Case LLP serving as legal counsel.

According to a press release, the review is focused on monetizing assets outside the company's core focus while accelerating development of its Tanbreez rare earth project in southern Greenland. Options under consideration include spin-offs, asset sales, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, and other transactions aimed at redeploying capital toward core holdings.

Chairman Tony Sage said in a statement: "Tanbreez is our clearest path to creating durable, long-term shareholder value. By sharpening our focus on Tanbreez and pursuing value-maximizing outcomes for our non-core holdings, we intend to position Critical Metals Corp. as a premier pure-play Western source of heavy rare earths and other critical minerals essential to defense, energy, and advanced technology supply chains."

The company said it does not intend to provide further updates on the process unless its board approves a specific transaction or concludes the review. No assurance was given that the process would result in any particular outcome.

Critical Metals Corp. also holds the Wolfsberg Lithium Project in Carinthia, Austria, which it describes as the first fully permitted mine in Europe.
