U.S. Bank announced the launch of Enhanced Payments, a bundled solution for small business owners that integrates ACH, wire, and instant payment capabilities into the bank's existing online banking platform and mobile app.
The product is available as a $25-per-month subscription. Subscribers receive reduced per-transaction fees, including domestic wire transfers at $16 per transaction, compared with $30 per transaction for non-subscribers using online banking. The solution also allows businesses to complete international wire transfers digitally rather than at a branch.
Enhanced Payments includes same-day ACH and instant payment options, along with tools to help business owners select payment methods and set transaction limits. U.S. Bank said the features are accessible through its online banking dashboard.
"By integrating advanced money movement capabilities directly into online banking, we're helping clients move money quickly and conveniently," said Shruti Patel, chief product officer for business banking at U.S. Bank.
The launch is part of a broader effort by U.S. Bank to expand its digital offerings for small business clients. Recent additions to its online banking ecosystem include Business Essentials, a combined checking and payments acceptance account; Spend Management, a card-spending tracking tool; U.S. Bank Bill Pay for Business, a cash management platform; and U.S. Bank Payroll, an embedded payroll management solution.
U.S. Bancorp (NYSE: USB), the parent company of U.S. Bank, is headquartered in Minneapolis and is the fifth-largest commercial bank in the United States, according to the company.
