Spire Global, Inc. (NYSE: SPIR) has launched ten satellites aboard SpaceX's Transporter-17 rideshare mission, with Exolaunch of Germany serving as the launch integrator, according to a press release from the company.
The payload included two satellites built for GHGSat, a company focused on monitoring greenhouse gas emissions. With the addition of these two satellites, Spire has manufactured and now operates a total of seven satellites for GHGSat, which uses them for high-resolution methane detection.
Seven additional satellites on the mission were launched for Spire Space Services customers, and one satellite was added to replenish Spire's own constellation.
