Netanyahu says US and Israel "see eye to eye" on big Iran issues

Investing.com -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday that Israel and the United States agree on major issues regarding Iran, despite occasional disagreements.

Speaking in a CNN interview, Netanyahu addressed the relationship between Israel and U.S. President Donald Trump on handling Tehran.

The Israeli leader said it remains unclear what will follow after Washington and Tehran signed an interim peace deal.

"The President believes that he can stop Iran's nuclear program," Netanyahu told CNN. He added that he holds doubts about this outcome.

"On the big things we see eye to eye, and occasionally we don't, but we're true allies," he said.
