Virtuix ships VR systems to Sirica autism therapy center

Virtuix Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: VTIX) has announced a partnership with Sirica Therapeutics to deploy its Omni One virtual reality platform for autism therapy applications, according to a company press release.

As part of the agreement, Virtuix has sold and shipped two Omni One systems to Sirica's treatment center in the San Francisco Bay Area. The companies plan to use movement-centered virtual reality and AI-assisted experiences to support therapy for children with autism and related disorders.

Sirica Therapeutics has stated plans to establish approximately 100 treatment centers across the United States. Its therapy approach, called Cognitive Sensory Motor therapy, combines movement, sensory engagement, and cognitive challenge.

"We are excited to partner with Virtuix to advance movement-based autism therapy through AI and immersive virtual reality," said Dr. Uli K. Chettipally, founder and CEO of Sirica Therapeutics. "We look forward to partnering with Virtuix as we expand our network of Sirica Centers nationwide."

The partnership follows Virtuix's previously announced research collaboration with Rutgers University to explore AI-assisted neurodivergent therapy and a separate collaboration with Florida Gulf Coast University using the Omni One platform for neurological rehabilitation.

The Omni One platform allows users to walk, run, crouch, kneel, and move in 360 degrees within virtual environments. Virtuix has been expanding the platform's applications beyond consumer entertainment into healthcare, defense, education, and enterprise markets.
