DigitalOcean projects record Q2 2026 results with RPO above $800M

July 7, 2026 9:03 AM EDT

DigitalOcean Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: DOCN) said it expects record second-quarter 2026 results, with remaining performance obligations (RPO) projected to exceed $800 million, representing more than 10 times growth compared to the same quarter in 2025, according to a company statement.

The company said RPO is expected to increase by more than $550 million in Q2 2026, with the weighted average life of those obligations rising from 1.6 years to over 3 years. Revenue growth is expected to reach approximately 29% year over year, up from 14% in Q2 2025.

DigitalOcean attributed the RPO growth to multiple nine-figure annual customer commitments for inference and cloud products signed during the quarter. The company also projects finishing at or above the top end of its previously provided guidance for adjusted EBITDA margin and non-GAAP net income per share.

"We continue to win the world's most sophisticated AI customers and demand continues to accelerate," said Paddy Srinivasan, CEO of DigitalOcean.

The company also announced it has secured an additional 20 megawatts of data center capacity expected to come online in late 2027 and early 2028, bringing its total committed data center capacity to approximately 155 MW.

DigitalOcean said the customer momentum is expected to positively affect its previously provided exit 2026 revenue growth guidance. Full details are expected in the company's upcoming earnings release.
