Accenture (NYSE: ACN), through its newly launched Accenture Edge business, and Google Cloud announced a collaboration to deliver agentic AI solutions aimed at mid-market companies with annual revenues between $300 million and $3 billion.
The offering combines Google Cloud's Gemini Enterprise app, Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, and Agentic Data Cloud with Accenture's pre-built, industry-specific solutions. Google AI Threat Defense, which includes Gemini, Mandiant, and Wiz, is embedded into the offerings to provide cybersecurity capabilities.
The collaboration covers six solution areas: customer intelligence and growth, customer experience, cybersecurity, agentic and data-led business operations, industry solutions, and workforce enablement. Industry verticals supported include consumer goods, retail, banking, telecommunications, and supply chain.
Accenture Edge was launched to serve a market segment distinct from Accenture's traditional large-enterprise client base, delivering what the company describes as pre-configured, right-sized solutions intended to reduce the time needed to move from AI pilots to production deployments.
"The companies that will define the next decade aren't waiting—they're building," said Rajendra Prasad, Technology Reinvention Engine lead at Accenture. "Accenture Edge offerings built with Google Cloud technology help mid-market organizations do exactly that. They can deploy solutions in weeks and get measurable outcomes at the scale, budget and speed that they need to grow."
Kevin Ichhpurani, president of global partner ecosystem at Google Cloud, said the launch brings Google Cloud's full portfolio "directly to this sector," adding that the two companies are "enabling mid-market companies to confidently scale AI across their organizations for growth."
Accenture reported approximately $70 billion in revenue for fiscal year 2025 and serves approximately 9,000 clients globally.
