ChargePoint and Optimus to add 200+ EV charging ports in U.S. Southeast

ChargePoint (NYSE: CHPT) announced an expansion of its partnership with Optimus Energy Solutions, a Florida-based charge point operator, to add more than 200 public EV charging ports across the southeastern United States.
Under the agreement, ChargePoint will serve as the exclusive provider of hardware, software, and services for the new charging sites, while Optimus will own and operate the locations. Deployments are planned primarily at quick service restaurants and retail centers.
"Our partnership with Optimus Energy Solutions demonstrates the strength of combining ChargePoint's industry-leading charging solutions with experienced operators who are committed to building and scaling charging networks," said Rick Wilmer, CEO of ChargePoint.
Ben Pauluhn, President of Optimus Energy Solutions, said the partnership has been key to establishing the company's presence in EV charging infrastructure. "Leveraging ChargePoint's technology and support allows us to meet the increasing demand for fast, reliable charging solutions," he said.
Optimus Energy Solutions, based in Central, FL, was founded to expand access to renewable energy and EV charging across Florida and the Southeast.
