Make-A-Wish and Chase renew deal with $3M in rewards for travel wishes

July 7, 2026 8:01 AM EDT

Make-A-Wish and Chase announced the renewal of their national partnership, with Chase contributing $3 million in Ultimate Rewards points to support travel-related wishes for children with critical illnesses across the United States.

The renewed agreement brings Chase's total commitment to $9.2 million in combined cash and rewards-based support since the partnership began in 2024. The two organizations also reported surpassing 1,000 wishes granted together under the arrangement.

According to Make-A-Wish, more than 75% of wishes currently waiting to be granted involve travel. Leslie Motter, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish America, said in a statement that airfare is often one of the largest expenses when a wish includes air travel, and that timing can be critical for children and their families.

Chase's support includes both direct funding and rewards-based giving. Chase cardmembers with Ultimate Rewards points can donate to Make-A-Wish and redeem points toward the value of the donation through the Pay Yourself Back program via the Ultimate Rewards portal.

Jennifer Wilson-Buttigieg, Head of Travel Policy at Chase Travel Group, said the company is renewing the partnership for a third year and noted the milestone of more than 1,000 travel wishes granted together since 2024.

Chase Travel Group, a full-service travel provider operating under JPMorgan Chase (NYSE: JPM), supports logistics for many of the travel wishes and includes brands such as Chase Travel, FROSCH, and VWT.
