Gilat DataPath wins $11M in U.S. defense SATCOM orders

Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. (NASDAQ: GILT) announced that its subsidiary Gilat DataPath has received orders totaling $11 million from the U.S. Department of War to supply field services and custom satellite communications terminals.
Deliveries are expected over the next 12 months, according to a press release from the Israel-based company.
The orders cover ruggedized SATCOM terminals with multi-orbit operability, designed to meet military specifications and maintain connectivity across battlefield conditions, as well as satellite communications services to support defense operations in the field.
"These awards reflect the U.S. Department of War's continued confidence in Gilat Defense's ability to deliver reliable services and purpose-built SATCOM solutions for mission-critical defense operations," said Nicole Robinson, President of Gilat DataPath.
