TechnipFMC (NYSE: FTI) has been awarded a contract valued between $75 million and $250 million by Eni SpA (MI: ENI) for the Baleine Phase 3 development offshore Côte d'Ivoire, according to a press release from the company.

Under the contract, TechnipFMC will design and manufacture flexible flowlines and risers to connect wells at water depths of approximately 1,200 meters to a new floating production unit. The award was recorded in inbound orders in the second quarter of 2026.

Baleine is described as the largest hydrocarbon discovery offshore Côte d'Ivoire. Phase 3 is characterized as a fast-track development aimed at expanding production from the field.

Jonathan Landes, President of Subsea for TechnipFMC, said: "This award marks the continued expansion of our collaboration with Eni. We are excited to apply our expertise to provide a robust flexible pipe solution with schedule certainty in support of this fast-track project."

TechnipFMC is organized into two business segments — Subsea and Surface Technologies — and employs approximately 22,000 people.
