Commvault names Brian Lanigan as chief partner officer

Commvault (NASDAQ: CVLT) has appointed Brian Lanigan as Chief Partner Officer, the company announced July 6. Lanigan will report to Geoff Haydon, President of Customer and Field Operations, and will lead Commvault's Global Partner Organization.
In the role, Lanigan will oversee the company's worldwide partner strategy and its ecosystem of hyperscalers, managed service providers, distributors, resellers, systems integrators, and strategic technology partners.
Lanigan brings more than two decades of experience in cybersecurity and enterprise software. He previously held leadership positions at SentinelOne, Lacework, Splunk, and HP Software.
"Partners are central to our growth strategy and to helping customers advance resilience readiness in an increasingly complex AI and cyber landscape," Haydon said. "Brian brings significant cybersecurity expertise to Commvault and has a proven track record of building world-class partner programs and driving measurable business results."
Commvault is based in Tinton Falls, N.J., and provides data security and cyber recovery services.
