iPower Inc. (Nasdaq: IPW) has secured a $2.0 million convertible note investment from an institutional investor, according to a press release from the Rancho Cucamonga, California-based company.
The company said the financing is unrestricted, giving iPower discretion to allocate the capital toward artificial intelligence infrastructure, supply chain initiatives, and other corporate priorities.
Lawrence Tan, Chief Executive Officer of iPower, attributed the investment to confidence in the company's strategy. "The unrestricted nature of this capital gives us the flexibility to move decisively on the opportunities we believe will create the most value for our stockholders — particularly across AI infrastructure and supply chain innovation," Tan said.
iPower describes itself as a technology- and data-driven company with e-commerce operations that is expanding into AI infrastructure investments and related financing. The company said it is pursuing investments in digital assets, infrastructure financing, and other AI-related opportunities.
