Evercore hires J.P. Morgan healthcare M&A co-head as senior MD

Evercore (NYSE: EVR) has hired Eric Rabinowitz as a senior managing director in its healthcare investment banking group, based in New York, according to a press release from the firm.
Rabinowitz joins with more than 20 years of investment banking experience. He most recently served as managing director and co-head of healthcare mergers and acquisitions at J.P. Morgan. Before that, he was vice president of corporate development at Perrigo Co. plc and held senior investment banking roles at Barclays, focused on healthcare M&A. Earlier in his career, he held investment banking positions at J.P. Morgan and Bear Stearns.
Rabinowitz holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Florida and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
