Cameco (NYSE: CCJ) has completed the acquisition of TEPCO Resources Inc.'s 5% participating interest in the Cigar Lake Joint Venture, the company announced in a press release.
Cameco's ownership in the Cigar Lake uranium mine in northern Saskatchewan increased by 2.871 percentage points to 57.418%. Joint venture partner Orano Canada Inc. acquired the remaining portion, raising its stake by 2.129 percentage points to 42.582%.
The transaction was first announced on June 1, 2026. All amounts are in Canadian dollars unless otherwise specified.
