Lucid Group (NASDAQ: LCID) produced 4,774 vehicles and delivered 3,953 vehicles in the second quarter ended June 30, 2026, the company said in a press release.
Alongside the production figures, Lucid announced a series of leadership appointments under CEO Silvio Napoli that the company said will reduce the number of direct reports to the chief executive by half.
Alexander De Bock will join as Chief Financial Officer, replacing Taoufiq Boussaid, who will depart after a handover period and will support the company through its second-quarter results. De Bock previously served as CFO of TI Automotive.
Raja Ramana Macha will join as Chief Technology Officer. He most recently served as Executive Vice President and CTO at Eaton. Billy Hayes joins as Chief Customer Officer, effective immediately, with responsibility for sales, service, marketing and regional profit-and-loss accountability across the U.S., Middle East and Europe. Hayes previously held senior roles at Nissan and Stellantis.
Hugo Martinho will join as Chief Transformation Officer on August 1, overseeing a new Lucid Business Process function. He spent more than 20 years at Schindler Group. Kay Stepper has been named President of Lucid Technologies and Chief Digital Officer, effective immediately, with oversight of robotaxis, AI, autonomy, and ADAS. Lucid Technologies will operate as a distinct business unit. Christian Appel has been promoted to Vice President of Program Management, effective immediately.
"We are simplifying the organization, strengthening leadership, enforcing accountability and aligning our structure with the priorities that matter most: customers, quality, and innovation," Napoli said.
Lucid said it will report full second-quarter financial results on August 4, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. PT.
