CitroTech expands wildfire defense partner network to 13 firms

July 2, 2026 8:31 AM EDT

CitroTech Inc. (NYSE American: CITR), a specialty chemical company based in Oceanside, Calif., announced the expansion of its certified partner network from two to 13 organizations, extending its wildfire protection services across several U.S. states and Canada.

According to a press release, the company has added partners in Florida, Montana, and Washington, building on existing operations in Colorado and California markets including Los Angeles, San Diego, and Sacramento. CitroTech also operates in Alberta, Canada.

The company markets what it describes as an EPA Safer Choice-recognized fire inhibitor, which it positions as a preventive solution rather than a suppression tool. CitroTech said it trains and certifies partners through a structured program that includes product training, certification, continuing education, and technical support.

California remains CitroTech's largest market, with Colorado identified as a growing region. The company said it plans to expand into Oregon, Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico, with a goal of establishing a presence in the top ten high-risk wildfire markets and more than doubling its certified partner network by the end of 2026.

The National Interagency Fire Center recorded more than 35,000 wildfire incidents in 2024, burning nearly 7.8 million acres across the United States. More than 40 million homes are located within Wildland-Urban Interface zones, with over 1.2 million California homes at elevated wildfire risk, according to data cited in the release.
