Astrana Health CFO departure: John Vong to take accounting role

Astrana Health (NASDAQ: ASTH) announced that Glenn Sobotka, the company's Chief Accounting Officer and principal accounting officer, will retire effective August 7, 2026. The company stated the retirement is not related to any disagreement over company operations, policies, or practices.
John Vong, 52, will succeed Sobotka as principal accounting officer on the same date. Vong has been appointed Senior Vice President – Accounting effective July 1, 2026.
Vong previously served as the company's Group Vice President, Accounting since March 2025. Before that, he held the role of Chief Accounting Officer and principal accounting officer from November 2022 to March 2025, and Vice President of Finance and Accounting from July 2022 to November 2022. Prior to joining Astrana Health, Vong was Vice President of Finance and Accounting at Prospect Medical Systems, Inc. from February 2016 to July 2022. He began his career as a certified public accountant with RSM.
Vong holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of California, Riverside, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Irvine.
