The New York Stock Exchange notified ESS Tech, Inc. (NYSE: GWH) on June 30, 2026, that it has determined to commence proceedings to delist the company's publicly traded warrants and immediately suspend their trading.
The NYSE cited "abnormally low" trading price levels as the basis for the action, invoking Section 802.01D of the NYSE Listed Company Manual. The warrants, which trade under the symbol "GWH.W," were originally issued in connection with ACON S2 Acquisition Corp.'s initial public offering. Every 15 warrants are exercisable for one share of ESS Tech common stock at a price of $172.50 per share.
The NYSE made the decision public on July 1, 2026. Trading in ESS Tech's common stock remains unaffected and will continue on the NYSE under the ticker symbol "GWH," contingent on the company's continued compliance with the exchange's other listing requirements.
