Expensify, Inc. (Nasdaq: EXFY) announced expanded capabilities for its Concierge AI tool, allowing customers to configure accounts, automate expense tasks, and analyze spending data using natural language through email, text message, or the Expensify app.
The new features include conversational analytics that generate visual charts in response to questions about spending by employee, category, merchant, or reporting period. Users can also create, edit, categorize, submit, approve, and reject expenses through natural language commands.
Additional capabilities include workspace administration functions, such as configuring policies, creating rules, and updating settings by interacting with Concierge AI directly. The tool is accessible across multiple channels, including email, text message, and the in-app interface.
Expensify also launched autonomous workflow agents in beta, which the company says can perform routine expense management tasks independently while maintaining a complete audit trail.
"AI should eliminate work, not create another interface to learn," said David Barrett, founder and CEO of Expensify. "With Concierge AI, customers can simply ask a question or make a request in plain English, whether they're replying to an email, sending a text, or using the app."
The new capabilities are available immediately. U.S. customers can access the tool by texting 47777, emailing [email protected], or through the Expensify app.
