Omnicell names Nnamdi Njoku president, effective July 1

Omnicell, Inc. (NASDAQ: OMCL) has appointed Nnamdi Njoku as President, effective July 1, 2026, according to a company statement. Njoku will retain his existing role as Chief Operating Officer.
Randall Lipps will continue to serve as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board, with a focus on strategic collaborations and the long-term development of Omnicell's solution portfolio.
In his expanded role, Njoku is expected to oversee global operations and continue driving business initiatives, including the launch of the Omnicell Titan XT automated dispensing system and the expansion of the cloud-native OmniSphere platform.
Njoku joined Omnicell in 2024. Before that, he spent more than 18 years at Medtronic plc in various executive roles, including Senior Vice President and President of the Neuromodulation Operating Unit, which he described as an approximately $2 billion business. He has also held positions at Zimmer Biomet Holdings, Inc., UnitedHealth Group, and Deloitte Consulting.
Njoku holds a Master of Business Administration from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas.
