July 1, 2026 5:46 AM EDT

Haleon (NYSE: HLN), the consumer health company, has announced a five-year collaboration with Microsoft to expand the use of digital, data, and artificial intelligence capabilities across its business.

The agreement builds on Haleon's existing use of Microsoft 365 Copilot and extends to broader adoption of Microsoft Azure as a core cloud platform, along with Microsoft's agentic AI, security, and identity tools. The two companies plan to co-develop AI use cases spanning consumer insights, supply chain, marketing, research and development, and commercial operations.

Haleon said the collaboration will support faster scientific research and clinical content development, enhanced marketing personalization, and improved forecasting across the business. The company also cited goals of reaching one billion additional consumers by 2030 and delivering what it described as industry-leading shareholder returns.

Claire Dickson, Haleon's Chief Digital and Technology Officer, said: "By combining Microsoft's cloud and AI capabilities with Haleon's deep consumer health expertise, we're accelerating our AI progress — simplifying how we work, unlocking more value from our data, accelerating innovation and helping our teams make faster, smarter decisions to benefit our consumers."

Darren Hardman, CEO of Microsoft UK & Ireland, said Haleon is "moving with real pace and purpose on its AI journey, using Microsoft cloud and AI capabilities to turn ambition into impact across the entire organisation."

The deal includes enterprise-grade security measures such as identity governance and threat protection to manage AI deployment. Haleon also said it plans to develop next-generation agentic AI capabilities, allowing digital teams to manage and govern intelligent digital agents working alongside employees.

Haleon's product portfolio includes brands such as Advil, Centrum, Panadol, Sensodyne, and Voltaren. The information in this article is based on a press release issued by Haleon.
