Argus analyst David H. Toung raised the price target on Charles River Labs (NYSE: CRL) to $250.00 (from $200.00) while maintaining a Buy rating.
The analyst comments "Raising target price to $250 • The company's moves in M&A and divesting assets should lead to higher growth and a more profitable business model. • CRL stock is up 47% since May 2025, reflecting gains following a cooperation agreement with activist investor Elliott Investment Management LP. • The collaboration with Eli Lilly & Co.'s Lilly TuneLab should enhance CRL's position in artificial intelligence-driven (AI-driven) drug discovery. • We are raising our estimates for adjusted EPS to $11.10 from $11.05 for 2026 and to $12.30 from $12.15 for 2027."
