Northrop Grumman wins $68M in defense contracts

Investing.com - Northrop Grumman Corp. (NYSE: NOC) received three defense contracts totaling approximately $68 million from the U.S. Department of Defense, the agency announced Tuesday.
The largest award is a $49 million undefinitized contract action letter contract for Joint Tactical Ground Station sustainment. The contract provides contractor logistics support and engineering services for the JTAGS program. Work will be performed in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and various locations globally, with completion expected by June 30, 2027.
Fiscal 2026 operations and maintenance funds of $13.5 million and fiscal 2026 research, development, test, and evaluation funds of $5.5 million are being obligated at time of award. Space Systems Command Directorate of Contracting, Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado, is the contracting activity.
Northrop Grumman's El Segundo, California, facility received two additional modifications totaling $18.8 million for LEX wing extensions. The first modification is valued at $9,425,888 for L/H wing extensions with a completion date of July 7, 2028. The second modification is valued at $9,380,995 for R/H wing extensions with a completion date of Sept. 12, 2028.
Both modifications are firm-fixed-price contracts issued against a two-year subsumable contract with one five-year option period. The Air Force is the using military service, and fiscal 2026 defense working capital funds are being applied. Defense Logistics Agency Weapons Support, Richmond, Virginia, is the contracting activity.
