Frontier Airlines (NASDAQ: ULCC) and Barclays US Consumer Bank announced a long-term renewal of their exclusive credit card partnership, extending a relationship that has spanned more than 20 years.
The renewed agreement covers the Frontier Airlines World Mastercard and the Frontier Miles loyalty program. As part of the extension, Barclays will also have the opportunity to market savings and personal loan products to Frontier customers. The companies said additional details about those offers will be shared in the coming months.
"Barclays has been an outstanding partner for many years, and together we've built a program that delivers real value for our customers," said Bobby Schroeter, Chief Commercial Officer at Frontier Airlines. "This renewal positions us to continue investing in new benefits, rewarding customer loyalty and giving travelers even more ways to save every time they fly."
Doug Villone, Head of US Cards and Partnerships at Barclays, said the renewal "reflects the strength of our relationship and the results we've achieved together."
The Frontier Airlines World Mastercard allows cardmembers to earn miles on Frontier purchases and everyday spending, along with travel benefits that include companion travel offers and elite-style perks.
