Halozyme names David Ramsay as president of drug delivery

Halozyme Therapeutics (Nasdaq: HALO) has appointed David Ramsay as President Drug Delivery, effective June 30, 2026, according to a company statement.
The role is newly created and carries an enterprise-wide, cross-technology mandate. Ramsay will be responsible for driving the growth of Halozyme's drug delivery technologies, overseeing strategic priorities, business development, and alliance management. He will report to Helen Torley, President and Chief Executive Officer.
Ramsay most recently served as Halozyme's Interim Chief Financial Officer from March 23 to June 8, 2026, when Darren Snellgrove was appointed CFO. He previously held the CFO role at Halozyme from 2003 to 2009 and again from 2013 to 2015, and served as Vice President of Corporate Development from 2009 to 2013. Prior to rejoining Halozyme, he was Senior Vice President and CFO of Bonti, Inc. until its sale to Allergan plc in October 2018.
Halozyme said Ramsay brings more than 30 years of experience in the biotechnology and life sciences sectors, spanning capital markets, corporate finance, investor relations, and operational scale-up.
Ramsay holds a B.S. in business administration from the University of California, Berkeley, and an M.B.A. with a dual major in finance and strategic management from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
