Inseego Corp. (Nasdaq: INSG) announced a series of international expansion moves, including two senior leadership appointments, a new international headquarters in Amsterdam, and continued investment in an engineering center in Athens, Greece, according to a company press release.

Pranav Shroff has been named Senior Vice President and Managing Director of APAC Sales. Shroff brings more than 25 years of experience in mobile, 5G, and connected devices, having held senior roles at Apple, Airtel, HMD Global, and Nokia. Ossi Korpela has been appointed to the same level role for EMEA Sales. Korpela spent more than a decade at Nokia in senior commercial and general management roles, later led the Nordic devices business at Microsoft, and served as General Manager for Europe North at HMD Global.

Both Shroff and Korpela will join Inseego's executive team. Chief Commercial Officer Steve Harmon will expand his mandate to include Americas sales, incorporating the company's planned entry into Latin America.

Chief Financial Officer Steven Gatoff will also take on expanded responsibilities, overseeing the company's global operating structure and supporting integration activities across international markets.

Inseego said it selected Amsterdam as its center for international operations, citing the city's business climate, connectivity to European and global markets, and logistical advantages. The San Diego-based company described the Amsterdam office as an extension of its global headquarters.

The company said its Athens development center will continue to support product development, customer support, and advancement of its fixed wireless access portfolio. Inseego cited the engineering talent in the region and capabilities from the Nokia team as factors in maintaining investment there.

The moves are described by the company as supporting its planned acquisition of Nokia's fixed wireless access business. CEO Juho Sarvikas said the Nokia acquisition's strategic rationale included expanding beyond North America into key international markets.
