Sherwin-Williams adds Square to its Digital Alliance Program

June 29, 2026 9:05 AM EDT

Sherwin-Williams has selected Square, a unit of Block, Inc., as a payment solutions partner in its Digital Alliance Program, making Square's business management tools available to Sherwin-Williams PRO+ customers across the United States and Canada, according to a press release from Block.

The Digital Alliance Program connects Sherwin-Williams' network of professional customers with digital tools through exclusive offers. Under the partnership, PRO+ customers gain access to Square for Services, a platform that includes invoicing, estimates, payment processing, and client management tools.

Supported payment methods include credit and debit cards, ACH bank transfers, and contactless options such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Square Invoices allows users to collect deposits, schedule milestone payments, set up recurring billing, and send automatic payment reminders. A Square Checking feature, provided by Sutton Bank, Member FDIC, allows business owners to access processed funds immediately after a payment is completed, subject to certain conditions.

"Professional painters and contractors work incredibly hard on site, and the last thing they should have to worry about is getting paid or managing paperwork behind the scenes," said Morgan Kuntze, Global Partnerships Lead at Block.

"We're proud to make Square an integral part of the Digital Alliance Program and to bring this level of financial tools to our PRO+ customers," said Nicole Zudic, Director of Digital Partnerships & Adoption at Sherwin-Williams.

Sherwin-Williams (NYSE: SHW) operates more than 4,800 stores across North America. Block, Inc. (NYSE: XYZ) is a financial services platform.
