AECOM (NYSE: ACM) has been appointed to Scotland Excel's Engineering and Technical Consultancy Framework, securing eight lots across a range of services including transportation, water, environmental design, and project and commercial management, according to a company press release.
Scotland Excel is a procurement organization serving Scotland's local government sector. The framework spans four years and represents the second generation of its collaborative model for procuring design and construction consultancy services. It includes participation from 32 local Scottish councils and associate members.
Richard Whitehead, chief executive of AECOM's Europe and India region, said the framework "reflects Scotland's deep commitment to modernizing and enhancing its critical infrastructure" and that the company intends to align its work with the Scottish Government's National Outcomes.
Beverley Stinson, chief executive of AECOM's global Water business, noted the appointment builds on the company's selection as preferred bidder for Scottish Water's Enterprise Alliance and its positions on the UK's AMP8 framework.
AECOM reported revenue of $16.1 billion in fiscal year 2025.
